It’s been kind of busy for me the past few weeks, with henna assignments, workshops, events, weddings and The Ladies Souq. So I’m finally getting around to edit this blog properly and write about The Engagement.
When H and I first broke the news to our parents about, y’know, “Ok kita nak kahwin” Continue reading “The Engagement”
Here’s the start to a new blog, a new beginning. Me being me, I lost the number of blogs I used to have. I used to write in Livejournal, WordPress, Blogger and a few other platforms which I don’t even remember anymore, and all of them were left abandoned. Each time I start a new blog, I would hope that it would be my last and permanent one, but it hasn’t worked so far. Hahaha. And yes, I still hope this would be the last new blog that I create. Permanent or not, I haven’t decided yet because I still have another semi-active wordpress blog which I am trying to revive.
This blog is definitely different and more special from the other blogs I had, because I intend to write about my personal journey in transition from being a single lady to a married woman. I will be penning down my thoughts, my reflections and my opinions. Subjects will be about weddings (duh), my future marriage, Islam (in relation to marriage/wedding) and anything or anyone else in my circle of life like people who matter to me, though I hope to focus on issues and relationships that will be more permanent, that are likely to be for ever.
My intention of sharing these personal thoughts of mine on this blog is for memories’ sake, and for sharing purposes, especially to other ladies/guys out there who may be going through a similar phase. I hope that whatever I share here will provide some form of perspective which may help others go through this tough transition better. I would like to think that there are no right or wrong opinions or beliefs, and that there is always something to learn from everyone. So I strongly welcome comments/feedbacks from readers out there. The more interaction, the better. 🙂
